natural off white 100% wool fabric for rug hooking, penny rugs, applique and many other projects. This wool is "off the bolt" or "as is" not dyed.  This is our base for dyeing our wools and just dyes up  gorgeous.   This  1 yard piece measuring 36" x 57" before dyeing,  washing and drying.
Wool is very soft and smooth, very nice to work with, and cuts like butter. All dying is done right here on the farm in my studio. After the wool is dyed, it is then washed and dried to give it that soft fluffy feel. Our wool comes from a smoke-free environment, but very pet friendly. Your wool is ready to use.
A fat quarter measures 18x30 inches before washing. Wool is a natural fiber, therefore it does shrink during the dye/wash process. Finished sizes will vary due to different wools. Please feel free to email with any questions, or if you need a special color.
