2006 Volkswagen Passat 3.6L SPORT Used 2006 VW Passat 3.6L Engine

Description

This 2006 Volkswagen has been in my family since about 2008. Overall, the car is in quality shape, with some typical wear and tear that comes with a 15 year old car, and only 154k miles. All in all, this car has served my family really well! Please read below for more about the car, including the recommended work.
Some notes: The passengers side seat recently suffered some damage. We are not sure what they used to clean the seat, or to cover it, but when we got the car back from a mechanic, the leather seemed to have lost a little luster. There is a picture to hopefully show this a bit clearer.  All electronics, like the power windows/seats, heated seats, radio/cd player, etc. in the car do still work without any issues.
There are two important notes to make here:
1. Most recently, we were given two quotes by two separate mechanics recommending that the engine be replaced. That said, the car does start, but the timing is off. It is recommended that the vehicle be transported by a tow truck.
2. In this model of Passat, there is potential for the drains in the moonroof to get clogged. At one point we did have a minor water leak, but the car has been aired out and cleaned. In addition, the drains were also cleaned to ensure future draining.
Buyer will be responsible for pick-up/towing.
