    Description

This listing is for an Old Vintage Mid 19th Century 1840s / 1850s Wedgwood 2 Handled Ceramic "Portland Vase" in Dark Blue.  It is a rare small 4" (10.2 cm) size.  It is marked on bottom with impressed "WEDGWOOD" ONLY (No England, and No three letter date code).  There is 1 Letter which looks like an "X" and one potters mark (photos 5 and 6).  The figures are all clothed in some way and not nude, so I believe this dates from c. 1839 to 1859.
It is in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  All rims, edges, and handles look great with no chips or damage.  The White Relief looks perfect with no cracks!  The blue is thin in a spot on side of base edge, not damage, noted for accuracy.  Very clean!  Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description.
It will be securely packaged and double boxed.
It measures 4" (10.2 cm) tall, 2 7/8" (7.3 cm) at widest part of body, about 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) across handles, 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) across top rim, and 1 15/16" (5 cm) at the base.
