    Description

    Webster Pumpkin Shaped Tea Ball
    This wonderful Webster sterling tea strainer is shaped like a pumpkin and I am guessing from my research that it was made in the late 1890's. It came from a collector in Palm Beach Florida.
    The interior is vermeil (gold wash) and the front closure works perfectly with no hinge problems. It is difficult to find pumpkin shape tea strainers.
    It is marked with the appropriate Webster hallmark and weighs 27 grams. Measuring approximately 2", the chain to the top of the ring is about 4".
    There are no dents or dings and I would consider the condition as very fine.
