The banknote was put into circulation on November 17, 1993, withdrawn from circulation on September 17, 1996 during the monetary reform and the introduction of a new monetary unit - the hryvnia.
On the obverse, on the left, there is a monument to Prince Vladimir the Great in Kiev, on the right is the denomination, year, and the name of the bank. On the left side is the coat of arms of Ukraine - a heraldic shield with a trident, in the light the coat of arms coincides with the same on the back, but in a different color.
On the reverse side, there is a part of the facade of the National Bank of Ukraine building, on the right there is a large patterned rosette, at the corners of the rosette with denomination.
