Japanese Natural Whetstone jnats Shohonyama Umajiyama 30' Kyoto *lightly used*.
I've had this for less than a year, I am now upgrading to a model that suits my needs better. I did take a video of the stone placed on my stone holder and Naniwa sink bridge as i add water to the surface, it also allows for a better idea of scale, this stone is very much a larger variety , normal size bench stone people typically use  :https://youtu.be/zCgPJ_D8lZw
I did include pictures of a chisel I polished on this stone, (before and after pictures) , i didnt sharpen it , chisel just has a large surface area as an example , in order to help provide a good idea of the finish or scratch pattern it produces.
This is a fun stone to use, it produces a smell similar to a hot slate patio after a summer rainstorm. I enjoy it, It may not be something particularly appealing or interesting to everyone. I do find that aspect of jnats interesting and appealing, the unique smells that are sometimes produced.
Ask questions if you have them, I included a ton of pictures , to ensure its condition is well described these pictures were taken as the stone was drying....(from my video)
I am by no means a super experienced jnats person, I will do my best but basically i am currently someone that has too many stones.

I've never really had to offer a return option on items I sell, mostly over the years electronics and similar devices. This is a bit different since these are natural stones , each one is unique in some ways. Anyone considering purchasing should be familiar with them or at least know what to expect. They do not cut as fast or provide the same amount of feedback as a synthetic stone....  So an individual's mileage may vary depending on a person's person preferences.
