Linhof Twin Shank Expert Tripod Older Model. Condition is "Used".
This is an older model Linhof Twin Shank Expert Tripod.
In excellent cosmetic and 100% functional condition. All legs move smoothly and center column locks down tight. Leg locks are perfect.
The newer model 3317 sells at B&H photo for more than 00.00 and is on special order. Get this for a much much lower price in full working and nice cosmetic condition.
Easily holds a 4x5 camera.
Linhof is very conservative in their weight rating of 27lbs. It easily holds my heavy Wisner tech field 4x5.
The center column is designed to be vibration free.
The tripod fully extended with center column reaches a little over 6 feet. It weighs around 7lbs.
Fully working Bubble / Spirit level.
One leg angle can be adjusted by detaching the connector that connects the leg with center post.
The tripod was refurbished by Bob Watkins at Precision Camera Works, CA. Bob is a Linhof expert repairman who replaced the fixed head and modified the head platform with 3/8 screw to accept any tripod head ball/pan head with 3/8 hole.
You will be getting a very nice and fully functional Linhof tripod for small to large format cameras for much less than the new model which is essentially the same.
