    Madras College Cupar-Fife Scotland Silver Medal,
    Circa 1888
    An
    unmarked
    academic medal dated 1888 and awarded to James Loutit .  The medal was "presented by the Town Council Cupar to James Loutit for general excellence Lower English Department, June 1888.  It is
    exquisitely executed with a three dimensional badge on the front with the words Madras College, Cupar-Fife with motto "Unitas" and hand engraved presentation on the reverse. The silver content is presumably 925 sterling. It has not been tested. Very good condition.
