Original BMW Motorcycle Alarm System from the 1980s.
New, still in the box. However, note two things: 1) The horn has a little surface corrosion on it. Nothing major, probably could be cleaned off if you care. But you're going to put it in a hidden place anyway, so why bother? 2) The connector that attaches to your bike's wiring harness MIGHT be incorrect. I couldn't find much documentation about this alarm so I'm not totally sure, but I suspect it's the wrong connector. Maybe some kind of factory option?
Made specifically to fit R45, R65, R80, R80ST, R80GS, R80G/S, R80RT, R100GS, R100RT, R100RS. However, it's a pretty straightforward unit. It can easily be made to work with any 12v bike if you know how to do basic wiring. I was given two of these as a gift. I easily wired one into my K100RS. I'm selling the second and including a few bits of wiring I didn't need on the first unit, so there are duplicates of some of the parts.
Since I've installed one on my bike I can tell you it works great. Just flip a hidden switch to activate the system. Once it's on if anyone moves your bike it sounds a very loud alarm. Just flip the hidden switch again to turn it off. Draws no power at all when turned off. The unit weighs only 4oz.
