Squirrel on a Log Vintage Ceramic - Lid Only - for Cookie Jar?

This sweet little squirrel has lost his home, or at least part of it.  This looks like it is a lid to a cookie or some other kind of jar.  I have not been able to find a comparable jar or lid so I cannot identify what exactly it goes to.  If you're missing a lid that looks just like this, perhaps you know.
It measures about 5 1/4" in height and about 4 1/8" across, front to back, on the underside of its base and 3 3/4" side to side.  The raised part of the underside measures about 3" by 3 1/2".
Previously owned, it is in good condition overall, chip and crack free. There is some crazing and scuffs present and what looks like tiny specks of paint on the log portion.
