    Description

    Rare original antique print from an 1870s illustrated journal.
    It depicts a beautiful red squirrel (Eurasian red squirrel, Sciurus vulgaris). It is a species of tree squirrel in the genus Sciurus common throughout Eurasia. The red squirrel is an arboreal, primarily herbivorous rodent.
    The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10 x 14 inches (25.5 x 35.5 cm). The picture fills most of it, measuring about 8.5 x 11 inches, with a caption below it.
    The page is in excellent condition for its age.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
