Vintage Porcelain -SPUNKY- The Gray Squirrel With A Fur Tail - retired

This cute gray porcelain Squirrel with a fur tail, is "SPUNKY".....He was found at an Estate Sale of a squirrel collector.  He had a tag around his neck that said "Spunky the Gray Squirrel"  but it was in very bad condition. The tag did not fair well over the years.   Spunky, the squirrel is in very good vintage condition, no nicks, chips or repairs.   He had been displayed for many years....and then packed away.  The original box was no where to be found.
This little gray squirrel is approx. 2.5" tall, 2" long and 1.25" wide.  It is hand-painted with the cutest face and the tail feels like real fur.   He is holding what looks like a green nut or fruit ( see photos- you decide!)
The MFG was not known as the original sticker had been removed years ago......It has the look of made in Japan!
